I like Optimized's idea. Maybe we could do a top 5 or top 10 mock and see who was the closest? If Burke makes one trade today, what would it be?

I don't think Burke will make a trade either, but if he does I hope it is MacArthur and #35 overall for another mid-first rounder this year to grab a guy like Gaunce.

We've been trying to figure out for months how the drafts gonna go down. I woke up today and I'm more confused about how it will go down then ever lol. I just hope there's a **** load of action tonight. Trades for big names, picks swapped, maybe Burke can get mic'd up and do to another GM what he did to Bryan Murray in the Kadri draft lol. Who knows? Time to put a case of beer on ice in a little bit. I just hope we come out of this draft with either Yakupov(in a trade up obviously) Forsberg, Galchenyuk or Grigorenko. Although I have my doubts with Burke taking him for some reason. He should if he's there. Anyways the draft can't start soon enough!

Boys there's probably a pretty good chance that one of Dansk, Vasilevski or Subban will be around by the time we use our 2nd rounder(35th). I'd be on board with taking whichever one of them is there at 35. Might not happen, but there's a shot.

Asking prices are too high? Deals need to be right for both sides. Biggest issue, players are overvalued by their respective teams nowadays. Hard to make a deal when asking prices are over the moon. I'd rather wait for a good deal than be impatient for an overpayment.
