How awesome would it be if Pronger somehow came back healthy next year? Only like a 1% chance but a guy can dream

It's not that improbable...as a fan of he O's I never thought Brian Roberts would come back after close to two years of being out. He recently has, but baseball isn't hockey. So who knows how long he'd last if he did get to come back.

Holy snap this is the first time I realized that both of them had those crappy years in Tampa. We should be scouting some dmen from them!

Yeah it's pretty impressive what Tampa has been able to do to young, up and coming defensemen. Both Carle and Mez were completely awful there after looking really good elsewhere. Both have stepped in here as really solid 2nd pairing guys.

It's very improbable. I highly....highly doubt Pronger plays again. Ever. He's a gamer and I appreciate that, but his career seems done.

Yeah, just looked at tampa's roster, only defenseman i would be interested in is hedman.. otherwise, they either have aulie (overly hyped by maple leafs fans, and brian lee who has looked decent at times, but doesn't seem like more than a 5th pairing guy)

With Pronger I see it as a Primeau or Lappy injury. It just wouldn't be smart for him to come back, way to risky. We got one awesome year out of him that led to one of the best playoff runs in Flyers history, for that I am thankful. If anything him and Bryz should teach Homer a lesson that these long contracts have got to stop. 3-4 year contracts, 5 years max
