2 out of 4. I predict we'll be .500. We will see what happens. I don't see us beating the Wild, or the Kings but we will beat the Blue Jackets, and Sharks.

Per the Avs twitter feed, Semyon Varlamov will be starting in net tomorrow.

And with this truncated training camp who knows what we could do. Praise and Suter, I think, need time to mesh with the environment of the wild.

Realistically though, we do go .500.

Well that was a disapointment....The Avs cant take that many penalties and expect to win. Shot ourselves in the foot tonight.

I knew the first two lines would have some trouble as long as Sutter was out there.

This game was just flat out painful to watch.

It was really painful, on a bright side though, like Rycroft said, we played well when we were playing 5 v 5. As long a we dont kill ourselves with penalties we seem to be pretty good.

Go Avs beat the defending NHL Champs tonight!

Are they still selling out the Pepsi Center these days?

I'm not entirely sure if they are or not. I believe tonight was a sellout though.

On a related note, I missed the game due to work, how was it?

Well that was another great game. But the Avs really need to cut down on the penalties they're taking.

That was a Bull**** no call! Landy took an elbow to the face, and the guy left his feet. The ref was even right there to watch it....And then they give some other BS penalty to O'Byrne that gave them another penalty...

Awful game yesterday and it all turned on the Landy hit. The PK was just atrocious but the Sharks have one hell of a PP.
