Dustin will give the Stars one more chance before signing this.

He appreciates the Jets' offer but this blows everything else out of the water.

We still have more ammunition and will repop one huge offer if need be so we want the chance to do that if the Stars do bid higher.

Dustin, we'll make our final pitch. We can't go over this offer (4 years, 14M total) but we'd like to try anyway.

Dustin, do you really want to return to Anaheim? After things happened like that, their management turned their backs on you so quickly. Their fans, the same thing. They attacked you for making a smart family decision move. In Winnipeg, we'll stick behind you the entire way.

Here, we're looking to win right now, and will certainly be doing that in four seasons. Anaheim's three best players could all be gone next season. Teemu Selanne is 42 years old, and is likely done after this season. Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf are both free agents. With all of the rumors surrounding Bobby Ryan, a trade demand is very possible. Dallas on the other hand is hitting a rebuild, and won't be contending for a few years. They could certainly run into trouble with that Alexander Semin contract too.

We came to you long before any other team. You were our #1 priority. You'd be getting top six minutes here, in a big-ish market, where you wouldn't be getting pressured constantly. Oh yeah Dustin, you grew up in Manitoba.. which happens to be our AHL affiliate. .. Come play at home. Don't go to a completely different area. Stay around your family and friends.

You'd be a top six winger here. You'd be playing on our powerplay. You'd be in front of your friends and family. You'd be on a playoff team. You'd be getting a decent chunk of change, and hey, an extra. You'd be getting a full no movement clause which would allow you to stay a Jet for a long time. We're a perfect match. We fit your style. You fit our style.

I don't know if this is where I'm supposed to do it but I've got a couple RFAs to sign.

    Team: Nashville Predators

    Player: Colin Wilson
    Age: 22
Previous Salary: 875,000 EL deal (1.725 with bonuses)
    Offer: 2 years / 1.8 million / 0.9 million per
Reason: Get this smaller 2 year deal, get your chance to shine and earn that big contract after. With the rebuild beginning in Nashville you will get every opportunity in the top 6 or even on the top line to showcase your skills.

Colin is looking for more money than this. He had a solid season.

    Player: Jonathan Blum
    Age: 23
Previous Salary: 787,500 EL deal (941,667 with bonuses)
    Offer: 3 years / 4.05 million / 1.35 million per
Reason: You haven't had many opportunities to shine but in the rebuild here in Nashville you will get your chance, likely in the top 4 to prove yourself and get yourself a long term deal. We believe you are a big part of the core and that you will be a big piece of our future.

    Jonathan accepts.

    Player: Alexander Radulov
    Age: 26
    Previous Salary: 918,578
Offer: 1 year / 4 million - limited NTC (must submit list of 15 teams)
Reason: Sending out a feeler offer your way. We will likely be dealing you, this deal gives you the opportunity to somewhat choose where you want to go and make you more attractive to other teams in the process. We would also be willing to offer a long term deal with the same NTC or a long term deal to stay in Nashville to play with our other young talent as the centerpiece.

Alexander is more than likely leaving for Russia. He will officially announce that tomorrow.

    Player: Jeremy Smith
    Age: 23
    Previous Salary: 845,833
    Offer: 1 year / 850,000
Reason: You were great in the AHL last season, this offer gives you a chance to possibly back up in the NHL but certainly start in the AHL and be the first call up.

    Jeremy accepts.

Matt is impressed by the Bruins offer as well. Though Colorado offered slightly more money, Matt is going to sign with the Bruins. He likes the long term future of the team, as well as the present.

Dustin appreciates all of the teams involved.

While he liked all of the teams, he just could not turn down a 5 million per offer. His familiarity with the city of Anaheim was a plus for him. He realizes the old management did not handle things correctly, but this new management showed their commitment when they offered him this contract.

Penner will sign with the Ducks for 3 years/15 million/5 per.

    Last offer:

    Team: LA Kings
    Previous Salary: $2.875
New Salary: 2 years, 5.6 million (2.80 per)
Reasoning: We cleared some room and added some more money on to the deal. Come to a franchise where there is a direction. We know you are the best fit for us.
