What team will best suit Rashard Lewis?

The Hornets, sources say, are planning to waive Lewis before July 1 to slice roughly $10 million off the $24 million that he is owed in 2012-13. With the resultant financial flexibility, New Orleans is confident in its ability to re-sign restricted free agent Eric Gordon this summer to ensure it doesn't lose the best player it received in exchange for face-of-the-franchise Chris Paul in December

With this news, who would be the best fit for him? I would expect a team to sign him to a very cheap deal seeing as he'll be paid heavily regardless for his buyout.

I know it's not going to be everyones favorite option but maybe NY. He can help spread the floor or allow them to use smaller lineups.

Where does everyone see him going?

not sure he has much to offer any of the good teams... does he?

anyone looking for an aging tweener with injury problems who has spent his career as a sharp shooter (yet hasn't topped 45% FG shooting for 5+ years)

Charlotte actually makes sense. He'd be a cheap 1 year deal. He'd do it to help revive his career and Charlotte just needs scoring. They don't have a bit man who can shoot like him.

whichever team he signs with will have fans loving the name, without knowing he has sucked for 3 years.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I think he'd be solid for the Lakers. They need a scoring SF. On a one year deal, he fits very well.

This if he is looking to revive his career. He will most likely sign on with a contender/playoff team and play limited minutes a la Gilbert Arenas with the Grizz last year imo

And for those who don't think he has anything to offer, people said the same about Arenas as well

Wouldn't mind him on the Spurs, I'm sure he can't be worse then Bonner. With that said, wouldn't be surprised to hear from his camp that he is interested in coming off the bench for the Heat.

I don't think he has much left in the tank... I like a team like the lakers for him... He can be a nice foil to bynum like he was to howard if the lakers choose to trade gasol
