    Did Westbrook just have the greatest game in a Finals defeat?

    Concerning performances in defeat (where the team ultimately lost otherwise we'd be listing MJ, and thats never fun). Where does Westbrooks game stack up alongside the likes of;

    Isiah Thomas G6 vs LAL. This game speaks of how little times have changed, this was the game that Kareem got away with a travel and was gifted a questionable call to win the game, the outcry wasnt as large as todays (thanks internet) but to this day many Detroit fans feel the league gave away the title. The Pistons lost that series in 7 but Isiah went nuts, going for 43 on 18/32, 8 assists and 6stls.

    Shaq G4 vs Detroit: Phils described this game as a waste of a prime Shaq performance, 36-20 (16-21) against the DPOY. Detroit won in 5

    Sir Charles G.2 vs Bulls: 42-13 (16-26) the rest of the starters went 10-30.

    Does it top any of these games? I think its pretty damn close, the only game I can recall being easily superior was West vs Boston in G.7 where he notched a triple double 42 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists.

    people are gonna remember that foul at the end and take away some of the credibility he should have gotten.

    Worthy deserves a mention in the series against Detroit. Had 40 on very efficient shooting.

    One of the top 10 Superman losing acts. Westbrook had the glow tonight until LeRoy James took it away w/ that one legged 3 pter.
    y'all see that right? she ain't say nothing.
    Lamar be letting that happen too

    It was a great game, most FG made in the finals (18) since Allen Iverson back in 2001. But his foul at the end of the game.... wow

    that's the coach's fault. They never let him know about that rule. Scott Brooks has been horrible in this series as a coach. It needs to be said.

    this is the Westbrook I love watching. When he's slashing and looking for layups instead of relying on jumpers the whole game. he was very impressive.

    he did two things:
    he reminded us that there's a hero in everyone of us
    and there's a clown in everyone of us.
