Ramon Sessions opts out of contract with Lakers, becomes Free Agent

    http://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers...r&dlvrit=53297

    1) Where will he sign?

    2) Who will be the Lakers starting point guard?

dumb move by him there alot of pg on the market this year. He should of stayed one more year because his playoff performance was really bad. I dont see why the lakers will try to sign him for the long run

If he stays he'll be a back up point guard and if he leaves he'll probably be a back up point guard, but the difference is that he'll be the Lakers back up point guard.

As a laker fan, Sessions was a big upgrade over what we had during the season which was the slowest and worst pg in the league. But he's nothing to brag about at the same time....definitely 3rd tier. + after his playoff performance, or lake thereof, I dont mind seeing him leave. Not the end of the world as guys his caliber are a dime a dozen. He's a good backup pg at best, any team signing him should view him as just that.

I hope he resigns, as backup though. With the amount of money we can offer though, he'll be the starting PG and our key off season target.

despite getting dominated in the playoffs he is a good fit for that team. he'd never been on that stage before. both sides should get it done, he's just going to bounce around again if he goes after the contract.
