They were fake numbers that were used as an example of how to submit a trade. You would put their real salaries from that website in any trade you do when submitting a trade.

The salaries in trades don't have to match, correct?

Right. As long as your team stays under the cap. That's why in my example I used two very low salary players being traded for a high salary one.

Salary link has been changed due to the fact that storytellers was incomplete. Thanks for pointing that out Grk.

Why don't you use this for salaries:

    http://www.storytellerscontracts.inf...12salaries.htm

If teams don't show up at the end of the page, you can choose from the drop down menu located on the top right of the page.

Yeah, I like the storytellers format better so we'll stick with that.

So are we allowed to trade 2 players for 1 player, then take someone that wasn't drafted provided it doesn't conflict with your salary cap?

Also, do we get to have an amnesty clause? lol I don't think it would be super important but it might be if we are allowed to pick up undrafted players or make a trade for someone that is better but more expensive. And if we get an amnesty clause, I assume only those under the cap can bid for the amnestied player?

Trades have to be even. If you trade 2 players for 1 player, you have to get a draft pick back as well. The same goes for draft picks. You can do 2 picks for 2 picks or 3 picks for 3 picks it doesn't matter but all trades have to be equal.

Nope, no free agents or anything like that. If you trade away two players for one you have to receive a draft pick as well back with the one player. Look at the trade example I gave for reference.

Are we allowed to pick which position our player plays even if he isn't traditionally known for it?

For example... if I wanted Kevin Durant to be a SG, could I use him as a SG and lets say LeBron James as a SF?
