    Mitch THE ROCK Richmond

Many of you know him as the 2nd greatest player of all time, even Jordan thought he was the toughest player he has EVER faced. Mitch Richmond, we appreciate you....

One of the most underrated players of all time as an Allen Iverson fan I empathize with the fact that he really never had anyone worth mentioning at his side in his prime. The OP vastly overrates Richmond however. Like no one I have ever seen quite honestly.

I will never forget his series vs the Sonics, he sucked in 3 of the 4 games because they were able to load up on him like crazy, but on that 1 memorable night he tore them up like no one else had (MJ included).

Still the rest of his post season career was meh.

"It’s absolutely ludicrous” (to judge players based on whether they’ve won a title.)

    all 26 games...

Richmond was awesome, I actually tried to pattern my game after him, but I think he is one of those guys basketball purists tend to hint at being underrated to make them sound smart.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I have said it before but when players of his era talk about him, they talk about how their teams would just double and triple him all night long.

He dropped 37 that game, and then sprained his ankle.

also, Nick Anderson, Brian Shaw and Dennis Scott.
