lebron will end as a better player than kobe.

im sorry, but it has to be said. players havent put up these type of number since jordan, and he has the ability to put up better numbers than jordan sometimes because of his assisting and rebounding ability. when will people realize he is better than kobe? kobe has never even had a PER over 25 in the playoffs. lebron had a playoff run with a PER over 37... he is undoubtedly better than kobe, and will end as teh 2nd best player ever IMO.

he's been a better player than kobe for a while now. Lebron plays an all around game. Kobe plays a gimme the ball i want to shoot every time game.

I agree that he is better than Kobe now but since when are greatest all time players ranked only by PER?

Whenever someone brought Up The Whose Better LeBron Vs. Kobe? Classic Debate, I always answered the Same exact answer..

"Kobe's better now, but LeBron Will Be Better..Some Day"

Still..Talk to me When He Wins 1/5 Of Kobe's Rings.

Individually he's better than Kobe because of Kobe's Age, but when it comes to his Resume, he needs to Win at least one Championship to even be put up there for Debate. Doesn't get any harder than the Oklohoma City Thunder.

Cool story brag, but Kobe was waiting for LeBron all those yrs in the finals, and his sir chokiness deprived the entire NBA world of that numerous times. Now Kobe is riding out to the sunset soon. The Kobe vs LeBron debate doesn't even matter anymore. Kobe won it and showed up in big moments when it really mattered.

can we stop acting like these players carry their teams to rings individually? Kobe has 0 rings if it wasn't for Shaq or Gasol. He was fighting for a payoff spot when he was in a similar situation as Lebrons early days in cleveland.

    5 nba titles says hi
    Records
    All-nba teams
    Better defender(in his prime)
    Plus alot of other things!
All you people basing things on stats PER and Win shares and ridiculous ultimately to me LBJ has to win 4 titles to pass Kobe and that's if he doesn't win any more
Sure Lebron is better then Kobe now but Kobe was the best player from like 2003-2009 or 10!
Lebron has a ways to go to surpass Kobe (top 5 player ever)
    Let alone be #2!
I find it funny though that kobe still after 17 years in the league is still being compared with the very best in the nba!

    From MJ AND HILL
TO T-Mac Iverson carter Allen pierce and others
To now Lebron, Durant, wade etc.
That says a lot about a player ultimately Kobe has always come out on top and it will most likely be that way by the time he retires

IF he doesn't start winning some rings then he won't be. At the end of the day he is the best all around player but greatness isn't measured by regular season stats or even playoff stats.

IF he can rise to the occasion as he is showing now then maybe but he is already 27 with a lot of miles.

Shaq doesn't win **** without Kobe in LA
GASOL WELL look at him now he's a puss!

Really dude your gonna compare lebrons teams to kobes lmfao
Lebrons teams were at least average
Kobe's were just horrible and I mean horrible besides him and odom

While I agree the chances are very good he passes Kobe career wise, there is still a lot of basketball to be played for LeBron to do so. The case is basically open right now, nothing more nothing less.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

The difference being 3 years of college for Jordan and 0 for Lebron. Lets not be silly. JOrdan rose the occasion and Kobe as well. Lebron has yet to show it and is often why he is criticised for passing up big shots.

It's near impossible comparing players who play different positions. Let's wait till both careers are over to try and make some sense of this.

A better comparison in the future should be KD and LBJ
