T Rob thinks he should go #1 in draft, takes jab at Davis

I like this, these guys may have a good rivalry in the NBA
Anthony Davis arrived for his pre-draft media interview wearing a T-shirt that read "Check my stats."

Thomas Robinson wasn't afraid to share his thoughts when asked to give his input.

"If you wanted to check the stats, then I'd be the No. 1 pick easily -- if that's what you want to do," Robinson said. "I should get one of those shirts. I'll get a shirt that says, 'Numbers don't lie.' "

Robinson thinks he’s the best available player, despite Davis’ accomplishments.

"I think I play with a different level than everyone else, a different intensity level," Robinson said. "I'm going to play every night -- that's not something every guy [does]. Everybody don't show up every night on a consistent basis. I think out of this group, I probably would say that I'm one of the players that do."

I wish he hadn't said this. I think he has a low ceiling and though I like him I just don't see him being an NBA star. That being said he does play very intensely.

yeah but if he thinks he's a finished product just cause he was more polished than davis...he's wrong.

it could be a good thing, but i agree i don't like it and i was not very high on him as a prospect before. oh well.

Disagree, I don't see Duncan in him at all. He is LeBrons build with less explosion. I think he will be a quality 4 but I don't see franchise player or even consistent all star in his future.

I looked at the stats. I dont get what T Rob is trying to get at? T Rob averages slightly higher RPG and PPG, but fails at the fact he also was taking more shots per game(Davis FG% was over 62%) and I dont want to even get started with the 4.7 Blocks Per Game Davis has compared to 0.9 that T Rob offers.. Oh, and Davis did it in just his 1 Year in College...

Don't see Davis as an incredible blow out prospect but he will be better than Robinson. Robinson isn't going to be great in the NBA. Solid player but not gonig to be a star

Great defense, great motor and passion, same vertical as blake 35.5 so athletic ability is there. The only thing that makes blake a "star" is his crazy leap. Now add that leap to all of robinsons tools he can be a josh smith type player.

Didn't Davis lead the NCAA in PER or was one of the leaders, something along those lines.

Everyone thought Greg Oden was the next HOF center too

Stop assuming Davis will be a Superstar, Robinson could as well be as good as Davis!

Especially since Davis will be in western Conference and T Rob will 80% be in the Eastern conference

T Rob will have a Bosh like career, Bosh has had an amazing career if you check the achievements
