International Free Agents

If Texas or Oakland signs him, I'm going to be so pissed. I don't understand why we don't increase our international scouting.

Ya it's very frustrating. I read something (don't remember if I posted it)

That when we fired our last international scouting director (the one who was taking portions of the signing bonuses) the Angels spent a full year not scouting/signing international free agents.

The way the Angels spend overseas it would be like not participating in the first 25 rounds of the draft year after year after year

@Alden_Gonzalez: #Angels, btw, not expected to be heavily involved in 18yo Japanese P Shohei Otani. Not much of a scouting presence in the Far East -- yet.
