Its hard to accurately rank SEC coaches. There's so many rotating doors or guys that havent had time to put in the guys they need. I mean, a guy like Dooley has been trying to repair a train wreck. Guys like Muschamp havent had time to put together the guys they need for their system. 2 years ago Richt would have been at the bottom of the list....its just not possible to really accurately rank any of them IMO.

Gene Chizik with Cam Newton 14-0

They were talking about this today on the radio on SEC Roundup and on there they all pretty much said that the general feeling is that he will get one more season and if he puts up another subpar 6-8 win season then they will look another direction. Because they know that championship was 90% Cam Newton and 10% everybody else. You take Cam Newton away and that was a 8-4 team. They went 14-0 but won 7 of those games by a touchdown or less....

I think Franklin is going to get a lot more credit when he holds onto all those 4*s even with it being Vandy. Just wait for it to be just his squad. Franklin is a recruiting monster.

That is the big if being that if he can hold this recruiting class together because so far Vanderbilt is playing below expectations.

Poor Missouri they are looking at possibly going 4-8 their first year in the SEC. Because honestly they have Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and Texas A&M all of which probably will be losses. Then they have Kentucky which should be a win. And then you have Syracuse and while they are currently 2-3 they played USC down to the wire and lost by one score to Northwestern and Minnesota which are both 5-1.
