In its most basic form, the PYT record for a team depends on runs scored versus runs allowed.

We use this to find that team A has 56% chance of winning and team B has 59% chance of winning.

If these two teams were set to face each other, could we calculate the chance of team A winning?

A rough way to calculate it is .56/(.56+.59).

That would have Team A 48.7% likely to beat Team B.
