Chavez is hitting .284, but his power has been terrible, only 3 HR
    Jones is .295 9 HR 39 RBI

Franklin hit a HR that the Umpires down there ruled a Double now wonder these Umpires up in the Majors are terrible.

Yeah, Jones has been hitting the ball pretty good for a little while now, but he did start slow as usual. I think he (23), Chiang (24) and Chavez (23) are considered the RF candidates in the system (good strong arms), so hopefully one of them can grab the reigns and run with it. Maybe Peguero (25) could join them... got a strong arm, but a little erratic. If I had to pick one, I'd love Jones to succeed and be that guy... he's got a nice power/speed combo.

What about Wells in right? Lots of people seem to have a big connection to him, and at least he has shown success in the majors. I think Chiang is done, so it maybe be down to Pegs and Jones. Chavez has been really inconsistent. Killer A, but hasn't done much in AA.

Wells is batting like .300 right now. Obviously with a low amount of ABs but he's been solid in every aspect of the game.

Hultzen gave up 3 runs in the first inning it's in Colorado though so i think we should give him a pass plus it's his first game in Triple A.

When will we see Hultz? By the all star game? At the deadline when we move Millwood and/or Vargas?

Well my estimate was after 4 games in Triple A but if he keeps walking guys like this probably longer probably why he didn't get the call sooner he can get guys to swing at junk in the Double A level but he is facing much better players that will lay off his stuff.

Wouldn't be surprised though if they wait until August/September why call him up fast no point when we are 12 games back.

I think it's just nerves for Hultzen Churchill is at the game and said he can't locate anything but his fastball and he has already thrown 2 fastballs to the back stop.

Nerves in AAA? Hopefully he gets rid of those because he's gonna be in the bigs very, very soon.

Maybe it was the humid baseball's they started using in colorado springs. Sucks Hultzen didnt perform well but dont look into this start at all...

He was promoted to AAA, arrived in Tacoma Friday night, watched the team play, headed back to hotel, slept for a few hours, woke up 430, got to airport at 6, took flight to denver, hour and half bus ride to colorado springs, checked into hotel, nap/eat for 1.5 hours, take bus to ball park, warm up, gametime.

THat is a **** schedule leading up to your first AAA start
