I knew Walker would be high but dang Tom Mcnamara (SP?) deserves some credit for going against the Prospect experts who saw him as nothing more then just a solid pitcher.

I kinda feel like Franklin is riding a wave of being over-hyped... I'm not sure if I buy that he's the 35th best prospect in baseball right now. Hell, I'm not even sure he's the third best prospect on our team (Miller and/or Romero?)...

Does anyone else think its kinda funny that Anthony Rendon is still injured...? He played two games in April and has since been on the DL. So who in here wanted to draft him...?

lol, sorry, reading this made me laugh... goes to show you how certain ways of thinking can be just so wrong, even though they get a spotlight on the internet. Four of this guy's top five bad picks from the 2011 draft look to have solid promise, if not star potential.

I want to see Franklin playing defense before I call him overrated. If that dude can stick at SS, he's not over hyped at all.

Unfortunately I start a marathon at work on Sunday, working six nights a week for the next three weeks covering the other night bar tenders shifts (he's going to Peru). I get Saturday nights off (even though I wanted to work seven days a week), but its doubtful my g/f will want to go to an Aquasox game on my only free night of the week, not to mention it looks unlikely that Sanchez will start on one of those Saturdays either, if he maintains pitching every fifth game. Wish I could go see Zunino though... he may not be there too long.

Anyway, I'm going tomorrow night... if anyone else decides to go let me know.
Game is in Eugene, OR.... I am actually going to watch Sanchez throw, just thought I would ensure you dont show up to the stadium...

CM Nick Franklin just got promoted from Double A to Triple A give him time to adjust Ackley looked lost for a month at both Double A and Triple A before he started really raking.

Lets not forget that Franklin also had a bunch of freak occurrences happen to him in his second season first he got sick then one of the Minor League guys hit him in the head in batting practice.

Callis seemed to like Franklin said he might eventually move to 2nd base which would push Ackley into the OF on 710AM.

Rendon has been done for the whole season awhile ago i think i posted that he had ankles made of glass i was on the Bubba Starling band wagon that draft.

Lol, yeah, I noticed that this morning... I think my hopes to get to see him blinded me from seeing where the game was being played...

I've always thought Franklin was overrated. But, that's because I've only read about him not sticking at short.

But if he does, he'll be something.
