Where you guys think Walker will be on BAs list for SP?

Three? He's number 7 in John Sickels' preliminary ratings.

My guess is because of his age.

I think he'll probably be about the second or third highest rated starter prospect. Behind Dylan Bundy and interchangeable with Gerrit Cole.

I think BA will have him at 2 or 3 for starter prospects.

I'm starting to lose respect for BA's rankings... every time I look at their organizational top 10, it just seems like they either aren't really putting much thought into it, or they don't have the smartest guys doing the work now. Am I the only one who thinks that? Their top 100 and such aren't so bad, but the organizational top 10 makes me wary of caring too much about the other ranking lists they do...

Like I would expect Walker to be second or third, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did land down at #7... and I almost expect that now, because they will have improper valuations, at least IMO.

I noticed SP Gohara (Brazil) and C Wei Wang (China) will be in the WBC... both from our farm.

    Walker is 2.

I happen to think they're pretty good.

Ehh, scratch that Wei Wang thing... he's never played a game for us, he's like 34, so he's not really a prospect for us.

This year we're flush with talent in the top 10, and the first five are kind of a consensus order... but in past years I've seen some head scratchers.

But Gohara has had a lot of prospect talk lately, so I'm excited to get to see him pitch. Sounds like every WBC game will be on MLB TV, so we should be able to watch it.

Nick Franklin interview. Wow he has matured in the past year. Last I saw him talk he was this nervous, stuttering, scrawny kid. He looks like a different dude.
