Hasek would've been nice 10-15 years ago. He should just stay retired.

    No. Leafs won't pursue Hasek.

Yes Nonis said he wants a veteran goalie.

Hasek has always been weird. This doesn't surprise me...

I doubt highly anyone would be interested. He's 47 for god's sake.

i would sign him to a pro tryout in a second. This guys is one of the weirdest players to ever play in the league and i could totally see him having something left in the tank.

I could see Hasek as the backup in Detroit. I could also see Chicago being interested in taking a flyer on him. Crawford is good at times but if Hasek has anything left he could split with Crawford and maybe even take the playoff games off his hands depending on how well he plays.

And he would be a ****ing terrible off-ice/on-ice mentor for a young goaltender. There is something to be said for a goalie that is good because of pure skill rather than because he works hard to be good. Hasek is pure skill and determination. No other way to describe his floppy style working so well. A guy like Ed Belfour who obviously had skill but also worked hard on his positioning would be a good mentor if he wasn't a headcase. Hasek no...

    An interesting question though...

Do you think Dom just wants to play? Or do you think he wants to win some more...

If you were Dom, would you sign in Columbus if I told you that you were going to start?
