Yes, I definitely agree. Some people use an artist's freestyling abilities to gage how good of a rapper they are, which baffles me. And honestly, how many freestyles do you listen to regularly. They don't have much replay value unless there very, very good.

I enjoyed these lines when i first heard them

People try to hard to discredit what others like i enjoyed it you think it sucks doesnt mean one of us is right or wrong its a different taste

Im not comparin this to any other waynes song especially in his prime i was just listenin to it on the radio as a "world premier" and i enjoyed it

To many uber critics especially when it comes to music which is why i never post about music or songs i enjoy. I only made the thread cause i heard it and enjoyed it but all the responses are either "this song sucks" or "good music > YM" "ym > good music" that have nothing to do with this specific song

I enjoy both wayne and pusha dont care enough to rank one ahead of the other cause i enjoy both artist music when thy make good songs

I think you should have a combination of both. Like you said, Fabolous and 'Kiss don't really sell albums anymore. Look @ Canibus, dude is nasty off the top... but, he couldn't even sell an album to his reletives. 'Kiss, and Fab, have put out quality music in the past. Freestyling abilities are, IMO, a nessecity, and one of the basic abilities to have if you consider yourself a REAL MC. Makes you authentic... Anyone can put a pen to the pad and write a few hot lines. Now some people are definatley are more creative, and witty, then others, but it's still a basic skill I expect a rapper to have.
