Yes. KD is better than Wade right now. It's sad because KD is not in his prime and Wade is.

D-Wade gave up his chances of being 'the man' when he recruited LBJ. I think when both careers are done, people will look at Durant as having the better career. He's a better rebounder and scorer, Wade's a better passer and defender, but Durant still has time to work on those things, where as Wade has already played his best basketball.

Have you watched many Thunder games over the years (serious question)? It's been crazy seeing KD's progression defensively. He's gotten to the point where we watched him lock down Kobe for the majority of a fourth quarter OFF THE BALL. That should be impossible. KD did it in the closing minutes of a playoff game.

I suppose if you combine a nuts work ethic with an athletic 6'10" frame these are the results. But yeah, KD's to the point where he's a legitimately great defender who's still improving. Reminds me of Lebron when that was the knock on him. People were still calling him out as a defensive liability when at the very moment he worked his *** off to the point where he became one of the top 10 defenders in the league.

@JB, not sure. He's definitely on a path that will have him easily better than Wade's career, but that can steer off course at any moment (with KD it really doesn't feel like it will, but you never can know).

Yes hes only what 23? He already won 3 scoring titles. He will win an mvp before his career is over and maybe a championship or 2

Yes Durant's prime is already better than Wade's and Durant has so much more room to grow. The only caveat is if Wade and LeBron keep Durant from winning any championships...

Riley needs to trade Wade in the off season . Go to a team like Denver and offer them Wade (who they'd love to sell tickets again) for a slew of Ty Lawson, Wilson Chandler, Mcgee, etc. You could get some awesome pieces that would make the Heat damn near unbeatable with Lebron and Bosh still there. You need a PG and an off-ball 2-guard, plus a C. Wade could get you all that.

At the age of 23, Durant is already in the running for MVP and has a LONG career ahead of him barring injury.

Durant is already a better player than Wade.

Durant will win his share of Championships.

Dallas is aging out. The Spurs have limited years. OKC is better than the Heat already. Boston and the Lakers are aging out.

What team do YOU see consistently stopping OKC over the next 5 years if they can keep the team together? *Maybe* the Clippers if they can get their act together and get the right talent.

On the individual level, with Kobe and LBJ aging, who is going to be on the level of Durant in 3 or 5 years? Griffin? Yah, not so much.

The real question isn't whether Durant will have a better career than Wade, but how close he'll get to LBJ/Kobe.
