I'll admit it...I liked Recovery more than Relapse. Relapse seemed like he was trying too hard to be his old self.

I like the old Em better(Marshall Mathers LP, Slim Shady LP, etc.)
But, I like the new Em too...

Probably the funniest Eminem verse of all time. He reminded me of his old self so much on that. It was brilliant.

Relapse was possibly my second, but probably third favorite Eminem album. I have no clue how it got hate aside from one or two songs.

Anything Eminem's worth listening to. Even the ones that aren't good.

I liked Recovery more than Relapse at first, but then I realized it was only because I had listened to Relapse a million times and Recovery was fresh and new. On an even playing field Relapse is far better than Recovery.

I still like Recovery a little more than most people seem to though.

I liked recovery more then relapse. But at the end of the day im always going to be an eminem fan. While i think his content isn't what it used but his flow and style are always going to be top notch. I may not love every song but generally 4-5 songs are great or i like a lot.

Personally would love to see a all white boy track. But eminem kind of opened the door for white rappers. So like to see yela, mac miller, macklemore on a track. Maybe throw in mike D and ad-rock.
And im not being racist i just think song with different generations of white rappers would be cool, in the same way kendrick and dre doing a song and being from compton is cool.

I hope he (& Dre) does most of the production & keeps his features limited within h ok s camp like the old days... But if he raps like he did on the cypher this will be a classic

To be honest on Recovery his lyrics were much better, but the beats and hooks were mostly terrible. I listen to Relapse more because it is more listenable, and I didnt have any complaints about the accent. He was playing a character, thought it was stupid when he dissed Relapse.

I don't think his lyrics on Recovery were even close. He had many many terrible punchlines on there and most of the comedic lines in Relapse were tongue in cheek. He lyrically spazzed out on Relapse imo.. More so than ever before.
