scoring is the least of our problems...i doubt we get anyone significant who an make a difference in the post offensively or defensively so the mozgov barbosa swap is prob just to get a pick from the celtics...since barbosa will be playing behind brewer/miller/lawson/iggy....a real pointless trade i might add

He is a 40 percent 3 point shooter. 82 percent free throw shooter. With a pick possibly? Ill take that.

Barbosa is an established 3 point specialist. He's an actual sharp shooter...not a wanna be like Brewer or Iggy.

Barbosa alone would space the floor for Ty to drive more often.

    Do not underestimate the shooter..

However, he plays terrible defense. So he won't help there..

but if you're looking for a true shooting guard...he's pretty much your guy. And not like we use Mozzy anyway..it still does create a log jam at the 2/3...but he's the only one that will be able to shoot.

Not to mention take Iggy out when you need a decent free throw shooter in there.

What are we getting in Hibbert? A guy that has a max that has played bad this year? They won't do that anyways.

I agree 1 on 1 scoring is not a deficiency on this team. If anything it is the problem. Too much 1 on 1 isolation players (or 1 on 1 strategy). If this team watched videos of the 1984 Celtics (one of the best passing teams ever) they would wonder what sport they were playing. That Celtic team showed how misleading individual assist numbers can be since I think Larry Bird led the team with around 6 assists per game. This Nuggets team has finishers but it lacks quarterbacks that set other players on the team up or a team offense strategy.
I'm always happy to discuss anything from hoops, to hockey, to reality TV with anyone that is polite no matter what their opinion. With that said if you are disrespectful or dishonest poster please do not expect a reply.

FOX is saying we could make a push for Millsap. Would be great addition IMO. His post game, even that mid-range jumper he has would help us out in the half-court.

Agreed what's the point of this faried has time to grow he's in his second year and he's better this year than last year
"There are only two or three superstars in the league anyways," Karl said early in the season.

    Agreed

millsap would be a great addition. A legit post game. And team him up with McGee or Faried..it should be fun up on the boards.

but alas, the asking price might be too steep. I still wonder from time to time how efficient the combo of Nene and Faried would be.

They never even had a chance to gel.

The team only has finishers because of the run and gun style...once those "finishers" have to make a play it's a different story. But yea, it doesn't help that we just seem to wing it on offense.

But if we're looking for PG's that distribute the ball, we might as well give Julyan Stone a run because that dude's sole purpose is to set guys up.

If we are to get someone from UTAH it should be Al,not Millsap, and we should try to get rid of McGee in that deal...
