OKC has got a lot of talent on their squad. So as much as I want to say they did...I want to put that on hold for a second.

I know they got weaker defensively. I know they got a hit in their chemistry...considering Durant/Westbrook/Harden play extremely well together.

I have no doubt Lawson will accept. Plus the Raptors would want Chandler as well and I don't know who else they could send to balance the trade.

    Ty,Chandler,Brewer,Mozgov,Randolpf
    for
    Lowry,Derozan,Bargs,Quincy(or draft picks)

Well, wasnt expecting this. Harden is definitely a loss but getting Martin, Lamb and two first round picks. I would imagine that makes OKC a long term threat, not that they werent already but these draft picks and Lamb make their future look brighter as Harden would have been difficult to keep.

I think OKC are still the team to beat in the west.

Alex Kennedy: I'm hearing that extension talks between Ty Lawson and the Denver Nuggets have stalled. The two sides have until Oct. 31 to reach agreement
I'm not really happy with writing this, but if he is like Harden...

He's not yet but he's the most important player on the team.

But Lawson was the biggest reason the Melo deal turned out so well.

In reality Gallo is the only consistent contributor from the Melo trade, and maybe Dre since he came indirectly through Felton.

If we were to trade Lawson I think the year would be lost. As brave Kid said, he is the most important player on the team. When Lawson plays well, the Nuggets win, when he has a poor game, the Nuggets generally lose.

Could these stalled negotiations have something to do with his level of play in the preseason? I know Lawson has not quite looked himself over the last couple of games.

Plus I just bought my son a Lawson shirt, so would be pissed if they traded him :/

My wife bought a AAA shirt last year.
