I think the flyers should trade bob and our first to either Toronto or Tampa Bay, and draft Jacob Trouba, RH Dman who could come in and play right away, he's big and gritty with a decent shot.

Everything this off season revolves around the amnesty clause and Pronger. The only tradeable people we have that I'd be willing to give up is JVR and Bob. Backup goalie and Dmen are the only holes that really need filled for next year.

I agree with that, or grab Griffin Reinhart. He's a lefty, but he's 6'4" with a decent weight for a kid his age. But even though he has a large frame, he still scores plenty of points. Sounds like a possible Weber/Pronger type player to me.

Just please no defensemen under 6'2", I'm tired of watching guys like Carle and Timonen not be able to use their body to disrupt a play or clear the crease.

I like Reinhart, Murray would be awesome. If only we had Richards now. If any player on this team was to be traded for a top pick who would most likely go?

aside from a couple top prospects, I dont think this draft has many official "day 1 impact" guys, unlike last year.

I say stay put, do not trade up, and stay true to your board. Pick the best player available. Preferably a 6'2"+ 210lb+ defensemen

Yeah I agree but that depends what the flyers do outside of the draft as well, and honestly I think maybe 6 players could crack the opening day lineup

I'm not worried about getting a guy who can crack the opening day lineup. I think a good solid developmental guy with a high upside should be the pick.

...And did you see that Giroux goal?
