Thanks MJ-Bulls for the picture.
Really? It isn't Thibs's fault.
Yeah not Rose related but just goes to show what can happen with Rose.Vikings running back Adrian Peterson said he is "light years" ahead of where he was when he started rehabilitating his surgically repaired left knee. And he has no doubt he will be ready when Minnesota opens the season Sept. 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Metrodome.
Minimal recovery from an ACL tear typically is six months. Nineteen weeks into his rehabilitation, Peterson met Twin Cities media Wednesday, May 9, along with Vikings head trainer Eric Sugarman.
"I've been ahead of the schedule since day one," Peterson said. "The staff here, the staff down in Houston, they've been doing a great job with just pushing me, pushing me, but having that limit on it and knowing that, 'Hey, Adrian, I know you want to do this, but you've just got to play it slow and it will come.' "
15 years ago... we already witnessed.
I said that out of frustration. I am not blaming Thibs because he probably wanted Rose to get that triple double and see that he was back in form.
I just hate it, Rose is my second favorite player of all time and it just REALLY sucks.

Both guys are freak of nature athletes, so I suppose anything is possible.

January is 7 months away from now and I think thats very likely on the scenario in which we see Derrick Rose return.

#Bulls Dr. Brian Cole: "Derrick didn't tear his medial collateral ligament, which made his pre-hab go much smoother."
The most important tweet of them all
Guys, Dr. Cole is being very conservative in his estimation. I spoke to a few orthopedic physicians at work today and they both that although 8-12 months isn't "out of the question," it is VERY conservative. Yes, Rose is an elite athlete and will take longer to get to the "right" level then the typical guy who suffers from an ACL injury. I think it's better Cole overestimates his recovery time, rather then say 6 months, and have people freak out if he takes longer to come back. Regardless, I want Rose to come back 100% so if he has to miss next year, so be it.
