Thibodeau said DRose is doing "predictable contact" at times in practice but needs to do that awhile before he's cleared for full contact.

Who cares if the game he plays is nationally televised, I just want to see him wear the Bulls jersey.

Knicks swingman and Oak Park native Iman Shumpert tweeted early Tuesday that he has been cleared for full contact in practice by team physicians. Shumpert tore his left ACL last April 28, the same day Derrick Rose did. Shumpert had his surgery 10 days earlier than Rose on May 2.

General manager Gar Forman said on Monday that clearing Rose for full contact in practice is the next step in his progression. That clearance is expected to come in the near future, especially after coach Tom Thibodeau said Rose has been fine with what he called "predictable contact."

"He’s doing what we call predictable contact. It’s knowing what’s coming," Thibodeau said. "He’s handled that part great. He’s done a little one-on-one. But everyone has to be patient. The next step will be a regular practice, and he hasn’t done that yet. Once he does that, you’ll know he’s getting closer."

Both Forman and Thibodeau said Rose will have to handle full contact in practice for a decent amount of time with no setbacks before he is cleared to play.

"We have to feel good about this," Thibodeau said. "The most important thing is he has to feel really good about it. It’s the type of injury where you have to be patient."

i have a feeling that management is reporting the step that has been taken as it is being completed... so to me this sounds like derrick is starting full contact this week!

everyone is so positive! makes me happy

On March 14th, there was a game on the east coast, I can't remember which teams played, but the changed the start time of the chicago/miami game from 7PM to 8:30PM CT tip-off to accommodate the game they ADDED to the ESPN telecast that night...

Maybe someone out there can find the game in question...
my posts never said that they won't change their schedule. What I'm referring to is that imo it's unlikely they will. I know of examples they have changed up scheduling as well in the past.
