Pettis vs. Cerrone should have been the ME.

I really like Cerrone for some reason. Ever since I saw his first fight when he went up against Diaz and lost I thought he was good though and he's a b.a. he wears a cowboy hat to the ring haha. When will Chicago though get a UFC pay per view fights. When was the last time they had one?

dj vs jd should be fun, i think both are equally fast but dodson has the edge in power and explosiveness.
unless rampage catches glover, i dont see how he wins.
cerrone vs pettis should be great, pettis may be a little more skilled though.

Never.... Pretty much every single UFC PPV is now in Vegas, Brazil or Canada.

I want Dodson to win but I dont think he'll catch Demetrious. DJ is smart and will avoid the strikes imo

I've been to every UFC event in Chicago and both Strikeforce and Bellator still drew large crowds albeit in smaller venues. There certainly is not a lack of interest around the area and I imagine the same can be said of any city.

The simple reason other cities struggle with hosting events is simply because of the familiarity sponsoring organizations have with the rules and regulations each state's commission requires. For example, Illinois law required two cage entrances.

Nevada has and always will pride itself on being the "fight capital" of the world and are willing to do anything to keep that business. When the business model from promotions to licensing to managing an event is optimized, why go anywhere else?

I think Rampage will win, but even if he does this still applies

this fight card looks awesome AND its free. really looking forward to the cerrone v petis fight. it just seems like it will be extremely entertaining. rampage has lost his luster and the super light weights just don't do it for me yet.

Are you saying this card isn't PPV worthy? Sure there's no AS or GSP, but this card would be on PPV if there wasn't a Fox deal.

Expect that to change once MMA becomes legal in NY.

That's the best part, it looks like the deal with Fox is finally starting to to pay. The next Fox card will also have a title fight which would make it 3 in a row. That's a step in the right direction. But if you go to other MMA sites, you'll notice that some fans wished the UFC was still with Spike. It blows my mind...
