If you read Olsen and Eifert's scouting report, they are basically identical coming out of school. They are the same size Olsen (6'6" 254) and Eifert (6'6" 251). If anything Olsen is a bit faster and Eifert is a bit of a better blocker. But Eifert still needs to imporve his blocking to be considered an average NFL blocking TE. Right now there is no way the Bears can draft Eifert in the first round with all of the other needs they have.

If Eifert is there you take him no questions asked. We have 0 production from our TE's... Davis shouldn't even be in the NFL. Our Oline is playing well now and I doubt Emery goes that direction. Look for TE, CB, or DT to be the first round pick

I'm just never a fan of a 1st Rd TE. They can be found elsewhere.
Gronk (Rd 2), Hernandez (Rd 4), Gates (undrafted), Witten (Rd 3), Brandon Myers (Rd 6), Graham (Rd 3), Daniels (Rd 4)
Eifert isn't a super prospect like Vernon Davis or Austin Sefarian-Jenkins.
