Yes it will. Anytime you lose the best closer in the game it's going to hurt.
Favourite Teams:
Boston Red Sox: 42-29
Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide receiver though.
Detroit Pistons: 8th pick in the draft
Ottawa Senators: Great season guys, let's get them next year
Beautiful:
as we seen last night the yankees are in trouble
While Rivera is absolutely amazing.
They aren't going to lose much performance.
Rivera averages about 60-70 innings per year, and Robertson is about as good as him (slightly worse).
They might lose a game or two by losing him, but it isn't that drastic. He is possibly the best player that any team can afford to lose simply because of the innings and production that is lost is replaceable to a point.
To those that do not know mathematics it is difficult to get across a feeling as to the beauty, the deepest beauty of baseball. If you want to learn about baseball, to appreciate baseball, it is necessary to understand the language she speaks.
Obviously losing Mo will hurt, but off the top of my head without doing any research, the Yankess probably still have a top 10 bullpen and it could get better if Phil Hughes eventually is bounced from the rotation (he's had 2 good starts but I still think he's destined for the bullpen unless he learns an out pitch).
