The Angels have inquired on A’s pitcher Grant Balfour and he is becoming one of the more sought-after bullpen pieces. The Halos have also shown interest in Joel Hanrahan of the Pirates and the Mariners' Brandon League, but Balfour seems the most logical.
Balfour wouldnt be bad. League is alright, his home/road splits scare me. Hanrahan I like a lot.

Teams probably have their eye on Astros right-hander Brett Myers. Many teams, such as the Angels and Red Sox, could use the 31-year-old’s arm right now. He has also shown that he can pitch in a big market with his time in Philadelphia.
I rather see what we have in the minors

Done. Does Miami still want him? I am quite close to hating his guts. I've already given him a nickname that this nerd-board would censor. He's going to have to do a hell of a lot to win back my favor. And not just get hot, I mean like get white-hot and single-handedly make us win like 30 of the next 40. I'm sure my favor is the last thing in the world he cares about, but I'm just sayin'.

I'm not ready to give up on pujols but it's getting close. We need a closer type for sure. It sucks because it's gonna be really hard to upgrade our lineup. We have quality players at ever position. We could try to upgrade the outfield but we got tori and wells stuck there.

Bourjos has a hip injury so I didn't expect him to be that good offensively but we still need his defense. I would hate to get rid of him because of a down year with the bat. Morales doesn't have any trade value so it's just a waiting game with him til he gets back to normal. Trout still has to gain his weight back so he ain't 100% right now.

We could use a better third baseman but then that takes away trumbos at bats who's been our best hitter. Macier is playing good and might be a good trade piece. I think the only real big moves tthis team can make are in the bullpen. We just have to wait it out until trout,Bourjos, morles, and pujols gets back to normal.

I have to join the bandwagon... We are 9 games behind Texas and the way they are playing we are not going to be in first place when the season ends.
Someone light the fire on these guys and start hitting! Watching the games are boring, I blame spring training on the there slow start.
We need to play more spring games at night.

I was against the second wild card, but now it may save our lives.

Manny Ramirez had no troubles moving from Boston to LA. He even improved his batting when he changed leagues. I'm not giving Pujols much leeway on that one. He's seen a lot of these pitchers before in interleague play, World Series, and when they were in the NL. His biggest problem is he can't hit anything on the inside of the plate.

I totally understand where you are coming from, but may not totally agree. When you pay $250 million over 10 years and then $1 a year for 10 years after he retires, you expect a lot more than what he's given us.
