Reports that Marty called him a few times! But theres also reports that tons of Hawks players have contacted both Suter and Parise about playing in Chicago

Where exactly are we getting the cap room for these moves?

We are 7-8 under. That's more or less 1 (Parise/Suter) contract or close to it. I think the chances of us getting both are near nil. Still we would have Hammer (3.5), Monty (2.75) and Frolik (2.33) that could be moved/burried.

@CraigJButton: Not surprised by Chicago as suitor for Parise. Toews played at Shattuck's where Zach's Dad ran program & at North Dakota where Zach played.

That 7-8 M under is also with 23 players on the roster. there are a few other teams with similar cap space but have less that 20 players under contract.
that puts us in decent position for either of the two.
