Daniel Carcillo Out for Extended Time (Lower-body)

    http://espn.go.com/chicago/nhl/story...ck-knee-injury

Feels kind of like last year. Hope it doesn't need surgery and he can make it back soon.
Guess we will see what Saad is made of. If he isn't ready, are Beach or Morin at all capable of player on the 3rd/4th line this year?

That's really a shame. Carcillo plays an important role on this team and unfortunately he's been out of action more than on the ice. Hoping that this doesn't require another surgery.

Q's comments make me think it's long term. Hope I'm wrong. They calling it a knee injury too and if it's the left one again...

If by some chance he retore his ACL in the same knee, his career may also be in jeopardy.

Not trying to be an *******, but it was off of two dumbass checks. Yesterday he went low on the guy which would be a weird position for you knees/legs if your pushing off of them to hit the guy.

Last year it was off of a illegal check, if i remember correctly.
So obviously its because of his need to check retardedly, none the less im a huge carcillo fan, but he is essentially doing it to himself.

I wonder if Beach gets called up if we struggle without the physical presence of Carcillo. I actually think he could do very well in a similar role to Carcillo.

Out about a month, per Q! They said it's not the same injury either. Not bad at all all things considered. He should be ready for the stretch and playoffs!!

Not happy that he got hurt, but I would love to see Saad get a real look in the top 6.

I guess better then not having him at all although he plays a character and skilled role on this team we lack a bit of.

It's too bad Saad is the polar opposite of Carcillo when it comes to physical play.
