Re-Alignment

Looks like the re-alignment is going thru. Still not sure which teams we will be with, but got to be better than where we are now.

Any thoughts on what teams you are looking forward to seeing more of next year?

The most recent I heard was.

Winnipeg
Chicago.....
Detroit.......
Minnisota..... great rivals in the past
Nashville.......maybe Carrie Underwood comes to the games.
St.Louis.........meh
Dallas........... Double meh
Columbus....... Triple meh.

Still better with time zones and seeing the Hawks and Red Wings and Minnisota instead of Florida and Carolina and Tampa is always a very good thing good.

Now they are talking...Chicago, Colorado, Minnisota, Dallas, Nashville and St.Louis. I know the time zone stuff is important, but I sure liked the idea of seeing Detroit. But still better than seeing the Canes and Florida anymore.

Then throw in 1 of Dallas/St.Louis

Thanks! Typed before I thought? Ya its so quiet here. Thought with getting the team back, and the MTS Centre sold out for the next 4 years, thought people would like some outlet to say how they feel, or watch the game on TV and have a go here. But hasn't worked out. And I don't even live there, Summers in T.O. watching the Jays, and winter in Miami, cheering for the Jets where I was born, and my Mom and Dad live.

Oh Well. Have a good year.......

yea MTS is easily the loudest building in the league. Only 15,000 seats which they sell out all the time. They mentioned it on the devils station that winnipeg has sold out through 2016

Hockey is a religion in Winnipeg ever since the WHA started in the 70's. Not much else there in the sports area. CFL and "A" baseball, so hockey is huge. Good luck to you guys.

So it looks like its set and other than Colorado, same time zones. Not crazy about St. Louis or Dallas but liking Chicago and a great rival in the day, Minnisota. Nashville could be fun if Carrie comes to the games and sings the US. Anthem. Colorado is okay, but sure would have liked Detroit.

7 teams, I guess easier to get in play offs vrs. the 8 team divisions!

Actually it stinks.....Chicago and Minny..yes, but why do we want to see teams that skate in cement like Nashville and Dallas and St. Louis. We have nothing in common at all with these teams and we probably can't point out where these cities are and they don't know where Winnipeg is.
Wish we could have been put with Calgary and Edmonton like it used to be.
