Damn king youre going ham making threads left and right lol.
QB's worst nightmare
I recorded this off the radio in the early 90's. Finally got a cassette converter to make it an MP3.
Really good article by Steve Kerr about how players should play at least two years of college ball before entering the league: http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...-age-limit-nba
Kerr actualy makes a pretty flawless argument and brings up points that I had never considered.
It's something I've been thinking about recently because I really think this is one of the least talented groups of players in the past 2-3 decades. We're stuck in a time when the best players of the last two decades are getting old, slowing down or retiring (see: Duncan, Kobe and Shaq respectively. The list goes on, too). Really, we only have LeBron, Wade, Rose, Howard and Durant as the real superstars in their prime. Kobe is still a super-star but he's past his prime. You can make a case for Melo, Amare, Deron williams and the likes but let's be honest, they aren't superstars, they're stars for sure but I don't know if they'll be remebered as the very best 10 years from now.
Back in the mid 80's and early 90's you had Bird, Magic, Jordan, Shaq, Barkley, Olajuwon, Payton, Malone, Stockton. Later moving on to Kidd and Iverson. All of those guys can be considered the greatest of all-time at their positions. Right now I think LeBron and Kobe are the only guys in the conversation for All-time greatest players. There are a lot of good players but guys you can mention in the same scentence as Jordan are running pretty low.
Maybe another year or two in college for guys coming into the league wouldn't produce more great basketball players. Honestly though, it can't hurt and could produce another great era of NBA basketball like we saw in the 80s and 90s.
Would make college ball better too...
Saw this article about how poor portlands medical staff are: http://zigsports.wordpress.com/2012/...what-happened/
All i can say is i'm glad we have such a highly-regarded, open-minded medical staff. It's amazing how teams like portland can have a potential dynasty destroyed by injury and not do anything about it.
If you're intrested in strength and conditioning/physiotherapy then it's a pretty decent read. Might be worth gander even if you're not.
The Phoenix Coyotes start the Western Conference Finals tomorrow against the Los Angeles Kings..

How come when you go on the basketball forum page, the Suns and the Wizards are the only teams without a full colour logo?
Where do you guys think Mike D'Antoni will end up coaching, do you think he'll be in Orlando next year or will he take a year off?
Personaly I want to see him go to the Clippers. I dont think they should pick up Del Negro's option because I think he's possibly holding them back.
I think D'Antoni could really get some production from Paul and Griffin together with the obvious comparison to a certain 2 (ex-)Suns.
I did the Warrior Dash in NC last weekend.
Here's the video for anyone interested.
I just found the largest piece of Cinnamon Toast Crunch in my cereal EVER!!! Almost 4 inches. Today is a good day!
