Honestly any team with Howard is better than a team with Lopez in the middle. We have been awful because of our interior d and rebounding. Improving that is the key to making the playoffs.

captain clutch, im sure they also want to see if they can convince dwight howard, you have to remember this is rich de vos , the man is stubborn about losing his superstar, otis smith seems more willing even though he sees dwight wants out but de vos makes the final call. they will go through it again as long as de vos is stubborn
I'll have to do some research on the 2012 free agents but why is everyone automatically assuming Farmar will opt in? He's made a nice case for a knew contract...
Stefan Bondy reported that Gerald Wallace with ultimately opt out for a long term deal, but he makes 9.1 million next season? Why not take that and run Gerald?

rich de vos will hold onto howard as long as he can, its obvious after seeing that this year plus they have few contracts expiring.
farmar has said he is opting in and after his injury situation, it would be wise to take that 4 million option cause i dont see anyone giving him more than that or a starting job
gerald wallace already said he doesnt want to play on a 1 year deal and is opting out, he wants security
If uninjured, Farmar would have probably declined his player option. After the injury, he probably won't have a starting salary of $4 mil.
Wallace is doing what Richard Jefferson did, and Wallace is the better player. And Wallace is always at risk for a career changing or ending injury.
When you got to shoot, shoot, don't talk
farmar probably would of taken the option no matter what, teams arent going to give him more than 4 million, only if he was a starter and proved himself would any team give him more than 4 million
jaystar, i think it will be something like that , at least 7 and maybe 8 or 9 depending how much flexibility he is willing to give the nets
Reports are that the Nets and Andrei Kirilenko have a 3 year deal in place after he finishes up his Euroleague contract
Not true... Stephen A. is reporting that Howard is fuming about how Orlando is handling him with his injury and the coaching situation and is demanding out as soon as Orl is bumped from the post season... only thing is, who do we trade for him? No picks, so Lopez, Hump, and Marshon?
Suck it
Apparently, he is playing great and is the MVP of the league over there...
Adding AK47 and D12 vastly improves the defense... AK47 is a rare player that has the length to play the 4 (esp. with Dwight at C) and the ability to be a ball handling 3. Kirilenko's biggest strength on offense is his ability to pass and slash. He adds great versatility to any lineup.
1. Deron(resign)/Hinrich(FA)/Farmer(option)
2. Green(resign)/Morrow
3. AK47(FA)/D. James
4. Garnett(FA)/J. Williams
5. Dwight(Trade)
This is assuming we deal Lopez, Hump, and Brooks for Howard. Not sure if the money matches up. Then let Crash walk... wouldn't mind if we brought him back cheaper but looks like we already have replaced him with AK47. If we can't sign Garnett (who provides excellent defense, rebounding, intensity, and leadership) I'd take Crash at PF. We can run a small lineup with AK at PF and Green at SF or play defensively with this bigger lineup. Wouldn't mind taking a shot at Kirk Hinrich as a back up G... he is a good defend and knows what to do with the ball, passing or shooting the 3 (one of our weaknesses, even with this lineup).
Suck it
