NO matter who we play it isnt the Rangers or Bruins which means we may see more of Gustaf and less of Kubina

None of the four teams scares me, but i'll root for the Sens to win, which I guess means I want either the Caps/Sens in round two. The odd thing is, I think the #8 Sens and #7 Caps are better than both the #3 Panthers and #6 Devils at this point.

I agree with this except that the Devils in the playoffs will always leave me a little worried while Brodeur is in net. He isn't at the top of his game but he still can win a game by himself if necessary. He isn't Fluery, he doesnt get rattled like he did.

Out of the 4 teams we could play, here's my ranking of them from least dangerous to most dangerous:

    1 - Ottawa Senators
    2 - Florida Panthers
    3 - New Jersey Devils
    4 - Washington Capitals

It's a glorious day. The Boston Bruins have been eliminated.
    On Dan Bylsma:

I can remember being on such a perch, or at least trying to climb over the boards to get at somebody to make a point. And I thought Dan Bylsma should have taken off his skirt and gone over there.

I would switch the top 2 but other than that I guess I agree. The Panthers I think would be a cake walk in the 2nd round. Whereas the Sens if that goalie gets hot can at least steal them a couple games and Spezza is still close to an elite player, they have the young stud d-man in Karlsson, and Alfie is always dangerous come playoff time. They also have a young guy they just brought up Silfverberg who is supposedly going to be a stud. Panthers just don't impress me.

i'm not willing to say anyone's a cakewalk. it's the playoffs; anyone can be dangerous, especially if you don't take them seriously.

i will admit, though. things are starting to fall quite nicely here.

I have the Sens ahead of the Panthers mainly due to home ice. Plus the last time we meet the Panthers in a series we thought was an easy win, we got chased out like rats.

I just want the Panthers so I can go to a game. Most likely Monday or Tuesday.

The Flyers were better on the road then they were at home this season. I honestly think them starting in Pitt was an advantage in the 1st round. I would definitely take my chances with the Panthers but we'll see how it shakes out.

    Round 2 possibilities

Sucks the only way we play Florida is if the Rangers play. No way im pulling for them.

Guess everyone is routing for sens and devils.

I remember back in 1979 ( shoing my age a bit ) watching a family friend play.....Gary Dornhoefer. he got us ice level seats right at the glass. was my first experience at a hockey game......I was 6. Have been a flyers fan my whole life, seeing how they played the Pens was amazing and knowing that the other 3 series have gone to game 7's with Boston already being eliminated........the Flyers should be, by all accounts the favorite going into any series in round 2 with how we have scored goals plus the added rest. the only team that had me worried was Boston. I would take any team right now and have the utmost confidence in our team to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

if you aint cav, you aint s**t
