    Kovalchuk injury?

Hey guys don't get too woried about this not sure if it's true or just somone wanting to spark something but on ESPN theres a rumor saying that Kovy is playing rright now with a significant injury. I'm not from the NJ area so im not sure if theres been any reporting in the papers down there but if anyone has seen/heard any info about this I'd appreciate if you could post it in this.

we wouldn't know if he were hurt or not. that comes with the territory of playoff hockey. i will say that i don't care if he's hurt; as long as he scores 6 points every series from here on out, i don't care if he does it on one leg with one arm.

I had heard something about a lower back injury or something, and when asked about it, he said he was fine. I'm not sure we will know until after the Devils are eliminated or win the cup whether it's this series or later whether he's truly healthy or not.

the funny thing is, he's been injured for a few games now, at least his play would suggest it. yet the first game he sucks, he all of a sudden is injured? not buying it.

Looks like I was filled with fail there. He's out game 2. I never thought they'd sit him down, but it might be the best move for you guys If he can be healthy for game 3, maybe he could be a game changer.

^ not to mention him costing us the game. if he doesn't turn that puck over, briere doesn't get his 1 on 0 breakaway. (his regulation goal, not OT winner)
if he's gonna pull that ****, i'm glad he's sitting until he can POSITIVELY contribute.

They avoid telling exactly where an injury might be so that it is less likely to be targeted when they can come back. I think everything below the shoulders is reported as a lower body injury!
