    1st Round Rankings

chicagocubsfan and Infamous - Kratos (God of War)

One of the best if not the best pick of this round. Smaller guys that pack a mean punch to me are more effective than gigantic monstrosities. When you are this moble and I have this power you can take on anyone.

    Rating - A

Whitesoxfan83 - Mario (Super Mario Brothers)

Yeah, he doesn't have a chance. The second he tried to jump on someone's head is the second he gets blasted away. I dont think his fireballs will be too effective either...

    Rating - F

Futuro - Link (Legend of Zelda)

Better than Mario, but I dont think Link's going to do too well. He is far to limited physically and doesn't have any terrifying powers

    Rating - D-

Mochal and Zaunnie - Sephiroth (FF7)

One of the better picks this round. With his abilities I dont see ANY matchup being a problem. So so versatile, like Kratos

    Rating - A

McJoe - "Starkiller" Galen Marek (Force Unleashed)

Physical limitations keep him from being a real force, but that doesn't mean he is garbage. His abilities will work great against other humanoid type matchups. A Lightsaber can pretty much cut through anything so bigger monstrosities aren't an issue.

    Rating - B+

Superdude - Sargeras The Destroyer (WoW)

The Destroyer, The Fallen, The Dark Titan, The Daemon Lord, The Great Enemy of All Life, The Destroyer of Worlds, The Ravager of Worlds, The Lord of the Burning Legion. He is really really powerful, but with his size comes weaknesses. Weaknesses I think someone like Kratos, Dantes, Galen, and others could exploit. I think in a matchup situation he wins against anyone that isn't extremely mobile.

    Rating - A-

    Iodine - KOS-MOS (Xenosaga)

Tertiary Weapon System. With this KOS-MOS can wipe out any slower but gigantic type of creatures, and it makes her extremely invaluable in that regard. I dont forsee her having any matchup issues. Solid all-around, only weakness is people not knowing of her.

    Rating - A+

    Janceman - Harbringer (Mass Effect)

I thought about taking a reaper myself at the start of this, but not a fan of technology based picks. I think his large size runs into problems against someone with a massive 1-shot type of weapon. He will win vs most characters, but I dont think he is invincible.

    Rating - B+

1-800-STFU - Dante (Devil May Cry)

I see him equal and on-par to Kratos. With his Devil Trigger being used as needed to eliminate larger threats remember with the Sparda sword in DMC1 he was able to fly and wipe out a god. Just a solid versatile character with no glaring weaknesses

Rating - A(of course I like him, I picked him, so kinda disregard this)

Kasmir - Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid)

What happens when you are facing someone that guns dont effect? His being human with no real powers is a huge handicap. His combat skills is enough to make him a OK pick

    Rating - C

    Greetard - Gordon Freeman (Half-Life)

He is a scientist with guns, he is a lesser version of Solid Snake on my opinion. A hero of his own universe, but this one has far stronger characters

    Rating - D+

    the_jon and Carson005 - Samus Aran (Metroid)

I'm not sure how to rate here. In one light a see a pretty versatile character, in another I see someone who is technological reliant with no real powers. I dont think her gun will cut it against stronger creatures

    Rating - B-

    Hawkize31 - Master Chief (Halo)

See Solid Snake. He has better armor and weapons so thats a plus.

    Rating - C+

Metal Milita - Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII)

My problem here is he relied on a party to take own more powerful creatures. FF7 isn't a solo game, so I think his power is limited compared to stronger characters. I still think it is a solid selection but not overwhelming

    Rating - B

    2nd Round Rankings

chicagocubsfan and Infamous - Asura (Asura's Wrath)

One of the best if not the best pick of this round. Looks like I have to repeat myself. Small, mobile, and really ****ing powerful. All bases covered here.

    Rating - A

Whitesoxfan83 - Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog)

GOTTA GO FAST. He actually might beat some of the lesser characters relying on guns with just pure speed and his homing attack. His Super Sonic transformation actually makes him SOMEWHAT viable. Still a iffy pick

    Rating - C-

Futuro - Duke Nukem (Duke Nukem)

Duke Nukem is a cool bad-*** and all, but I see issues. He is just a human relying on guns, not a good fit for this draft. I see guys like Solid Snake and Master Chief as better than him too.

    Rating - D+

Mochal and Zaunnie - Albert Wesker (Resident Evil)

I loved him in the basketball redraft, but I dont love him here. He has a ceiling and while he would be able to abuse lesser characters, his teleportation moves wont cut it against bigger characters who will laugh off his attacks

    Rating - C+

McJoe - Ezio Auditore da Firenze (Assassins Creed)

I really not sure what Ezio could do against someone with even a gun. To be honest I could see Sonic beating him in a 1 on 1 situation. Normal swords and bows just wont cut it in this arena. He could have a CHANCE against someone with no ranged attacks/guns and fellow sword user, but thats it.

    Rating - D

    Superdude - Jedah Dohma (Darkstalkers)

Jedah needs to get in close to do any damage. This is a bit of a problem, and he will face certain matchup issues because of it. Once he gets in I think he'll be a monster but thats the hard part

    Rating - B-

    Iodine - Alex Mercer (Prototype)

Versatility is the name of the game here. His transformations will allow him to adapt easily. In terms of power I'm not sure how he'd scale compared to some of the stronger guys here, but at the least he is a solid above average pick

    Rating - B+

Janceman - Trance Kuja (Final Fantasy IX)

Really like this pick. Really really like. He is just about on-par with Sephy in terms of power. Maybe slight mobility/durability concerns but the shear force is there

    Rating - A-

1-800-STFU - Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden)

I basically see him as equal to my first pick, Dante. A skilled moble fighter who has ninpo powers to take care of any long range / bigger threats. He DOES have durability concerns but thats if you can hit him.

Rating - A-(of course I like him, I picked him, so kinda disregard this, again)

Kasmir - Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil)

This is a brutal pick. He is going to get mauled. Being human with no powers and simple weaponry is not the way to go here

    Rating - D-

Greetard - The Lich King (Warcraft)

Infinitely better than your 1st pick, but I'm not in love here. He is pretty sluggish and not a huge guy. His advantages come from amazing stamina and abilities. If he does manage to hit he hits hard. I could just see him outlasting alot of characters

    Rating - B

    the_jon and Carson005 - Scorpion (Mortal Kombat)

He is just a middle of the road guy in this. Physically powerful enough and skilled enough to beat weaker characters, and has some limited powers as well. I just not see anything special here

    Rating - C

    Hawkize31 - Fox McCloud (Starfox)

Interesting pick since you included the arwing. He can win against some guys just by having a favorable matchup, but he will get absolutely MAULED by a character like Harbringer. I see him as basically flipping a coin and hoping they cant hit a fast flying thing

    Rating - B-

Metal Milita - Nathan Drake (Uncharted)

I will say the same things about Drake that I did with Duke. Just not good within the context of this re-draft. Simply a normal human.

    Rating - D+
