Indiana isn't going to have as stand out of a class in 2013 as they did with 2012, but Devin Davis and Luke Fischer are the two main guys leading the way. Also putting a big push for BeeJay Anya from DeMatha out in Maryland. He's currently #20 on rivals and the no.2 center in the 2013 class. We just hired one of DeMatha's assistants actually to the same position. Also, having Oladipo (DeMatha graduate) also has helped out the recruiting process. With Cody Zeller's success down low, we're hoping to make IU into a program where big men can see the progress/development/success of those before.

IU received a commit today from 6'4" SG Stan Robinson, no.88 overall from Rivals. First 4 star recruit for 2013. He got a lot of great reviews this past weekend playing in Bloomington with the other AAU teams. Now we're putting a strong final push for C BeeJay Anya, who was Mr. Robinson's teammate on their AAU Team Takeover.

No.15 Marcus Lee is where my Hoosiers really want. He's got it down to 7 now, so some work to do against California and Duke as well as Kentucky but I'm hopin we get him. He would be a solid starter from Cody Zeller's departure.

Iowa State has verbals from SG Matt Thomas and PG Monte Morris, both of whom are top 100 players. Thomas is viewed by some as the best shooter in the class. Freddy loves him some shooters!

Marcus Lee trimmed his choices down to 3, Louisville, UK, and Cal. Was hoping he would come to IU but gotta move on. Rumor has it Cal is in the lead to obtain his services.

Oregon will likely get a commitment from Darin Johnson (4 star SG) soon. He's really good friends with Dominic Artis and Arik Armstead. Oregon has also moved up the ladder to 2nd for Aaron Gordon. Washington still leads, but Oregon has a shot if the OV blows him away. It helps that we got Waverly Austin because now Gordon knows he won't have to play the 5 at Oregon.

Illinois picked up a commitment today from 4* SG Kendrick Nunn. He is a big get for Illinois as the new coaching staff has been pushing and hoping he could be the first in a Chicago pipeline. Maybe more importantly though, Nunn and his family seem to think that Demetrius Jackson will commit to Illinois soon as well. Getting Nunn is great, but adding Jackson without having coached a game at Illinois would be incredible.

and with the 12th pick, The New York Football Giants select ......Odell Beckham Jr, Wide Reciever from Louisana State University

I'd also take Parker over Wiggins still. Both amazing players though.

Cal's going to have a monster class if they add Lee to Jabari Bird and Jordan Mathews.

The no.3 prospect from 2014 PF Noah Vonleh reclassified into 2013. Gonna be really interesting to see where he lands. He was a top target for IU for 2014 once Trey Lyles de-commited so I'd imagine he still would be. The top two right now are IU and North Carolina from what I've read.

The Robinson twins committed to Oregon last weekend for football and basketball. Tyrell has a brighter future in football, but Tyree is a legitimate 4 star top 100 basketball prospect. This also may help in bringing 5 star Aaron Gordon to Oregon, but Washington might still be the team to beat after Gordon's OV last weekend.
