The Robinson twins committed to Oregon last weekend for football and basketball. Tyrell has a brighter future in football, but Tyree is a legitimate 4 star top 100 basketball prospect. This also may help in bringing 5 star Aaron Gordon to Oregon, but Washington might still be the team to beat after Gordon's OV last weekend.
Aaron Gordon may be the nastiest player in the 2013 class. To me, he's a combination of Blake Griffin and a young Kevin Durant. That dude is an athletic monster. This is my favorite youtube tape of him
Anya set his visit for October 26-28. Need him or Meeks.
Anya is visiting IU the weekend on Oct. 20th for our "midnight madness" thing, it's called Hoosier Hysteria. Right now 10 other recruits (2 from 2013, 7 from 2014, 1 from 2015) are taking visits to IU that weekend. Couldn't be more pumped for the event.
For Anya, I think the field is wide open between IU, NC State, Pitt, and Ohio State. My feeling is IU and NC State are the leaders simply because both have AAU Team Takeover ties, but he's got a slew of visits coming up so we'll learn more from that.
Ever since Trey Lyles de-committed (write it down now he's going to Kentucky), IU has been putting a hard push for Noah and he's said that IU is at the top of his list with UNC. I'm really big on this kid. He can't take any visits till he takes his SAT in October, kinda crappy. Which makes me think that he won't be looking to make a commitment till next year.
Side note about Meeks: When he had his in-home visit with UNC, apparently he had around 20 family members there to meet Coach Williams. Even before IU got serious with recruiting him, reports had UNC in the lead the whole time.
My 2013 board:
1. Noah Vonleh
2. BeeJay Anya
3. Troy Williams (I think UNC is the favorite here too)
4. Kennedy Meeks
