Why is Vargas on the hot seat? He has been pretty darn good not his fault the bullpen has blown games for him now Millwood he is awful i could see it.

I still don't understand that one where Wedge decided to pull Vargas at 75 pitches in Japan.

Yeah Nate, its not to DFA Vargas but to trade him. Still I think its too early to expect a Vargas trade. More likely a Millwood demotion/departure... he's not costing us much, so no need torturing ourselves if he's not getting the job done.

So far after 5 starts Millwood has been worse across the board than he was in '10 with Baltimore... hard to be inspired.

Yeah, if its player contract stuff Cot's Contracts is the place to check... I have them bookmarked for easy access. They have a bunch of info relating to all that stuff.

    http://www.baseballprospectus.com/compensation/cots/

Baseball Prospectus bought the site and switched over the format and ever since then some of the content has been reduced, some of the extra links and lists they made. Oh well, the main contract info is what its best for...

Never mind i got the wrong impression thought you guys meant take him out of the rotation or something didn't know you meant trade him my bad.

Should package him with League and get something really good in return.

Ahhhh.... I don't think that info has been figured out and released yet... I wanna say it was mid-season or later when it came out last year.

With the 2011 players being 2012 FA's we didn't have any... can't find anything yet for the upcoming free agency players (2013 FAs).

Less then a month away from the MLB draft and we may go pitcher again at #3 assuming Buxton is off the board of course Z could pull a complete surprise like last draft.

We could always take Mike Zunino (SP?) out of Florida to as a future catching prospect.
