All of the guys I mentioned have a higher WAR. So, yes. They are.
ERA is probably the #1 factor for CY voting though.

If it where up to me, it would be based mainly on WAR. Most valueable player/pitcher should be the player who has the most value, which is exactly what WAR is.
Unfortunatly, that's not how it is, hence why Braun won MVP last year. Not that he was bad, but Kemp was better by about 1 WAR.
You have no idea how excited I am right now.

The Seattle Mariners called up left-hander Oliver Perez from Triple-A Tacoma and optioned right-hander Steve Delabar to Tacoma. They also designated outfielder Chih-Hsien Chiang for assignment.

Perez, 30, was 2-2 with a 4.65 ERA in 22 relief appearances with Tacoma. His 12.19 strikeouts per nine innings led Pacific Coast relievers.

I like the K rate, but now we have 3 lefties. Unless we plan on starting him and moving Noesi or something to the pen?

I want us to give Iwakuma a shot in the rotation. I'm not much of a fan of Erasmo Ramirez.

Dude, you didn't say anything about the voting. You said those guys haven't been as good as Dickey. I don't know where everyone got that I was saying voters don't go off of ERA.

Ok. But he is still ahead of the others in The running for CY Young. It really isn't that big of a deal anyway

I remember ESPN baseball tonight dudes (except Karl Ravech) were flippin out when Felix won his Cy Young because CC sabathia had like 22 wins and Felix only had 13. They totally ignored the fact Felix DOMINATED every statistical category across the board by a wide margin except for W's.

The guys who decide the awards at the end of the season are mostly retards.
