Donovan McNabb a Hall of Famer?

Donovan McNabb a Hall of Famer? He says "absolutely," but I'm not so sure

    no

If Cris Carter isn't a 1st/2nd ballot HOF then this guy isn't a HOF period.

Cris Carter is robbery. I am completely disgusted that they tainted his career by ****ing him over this badly. Best hands EVER. Best sideline receiver EVER. Ridiculous.

But McNabb...I'd say its debatable. I personally lean towards yes though, but I think its foolish for McNabb to say that

They won't get by Miami and they'll be lucky if they can beat Boston. So since you're so high on Rose, I don't see him doing any damage at all come playoff time.

Had he not gone to Washington and Minnesota, I'd say sure. But he showed everyone that Andy Reid was the guy that made him good, not himself. I wouldn't vote him in

Donovan McNabb is delirious. Never could capitalize on opportunity. Just like the Eagles of his time period.

i say no. He had a ton of talent. I just think he was never a good west coast QB. Not that he didnt do well in the system. It just seemed like he wasnt accurate enough for a lot of the playbook.

Chris Carter is borderline HOF. I would not vote for him.

Not a spectacular receiver IMO. Great player, just not one I would tell my grandkids about.

    Who?

I was just going to say other than Tom Brady Donovan has done more with less than any other QB in recent memory.

Why is it foolish to say he think he belongs? Is he supposed to say he isn't worthy?

Tim Brown and a slew of others deserve a nod before this clown. No, I don't believe he is anywhere near a HOFer.

Not a HOF. McNabb was an above average QB for Philly. He had one great season. He thinks he is a HOF because he reached 5 NFC Championships and his stats are good. He says Dan Marino made the HOF without a ring so he should too. This guy is completely delusional.

I watched Donovans career rather closely for not being an eagles fan ,and you Could count on him EVERY year to have 3 or 4 games where he inexplicably played like he was on crack, balls flying all over the place, misreading defenses, it was like a different guy out there. For that reason alone I wouldnt put him in.Everyone has a bad game once in a while but this was like clockwork, and he would never recover. That 4th and 26 to Freddy was something special though....

i think he is a near miss.excellent stats, kept interceptions to a minimum, played with a few iffy recievers during his peak but he stumbled after leaving the eagles and i think that will really hurt him in voters memories of his career.
