it was a 5 game set ya. Marlies swept Rochester.

Jerry D'Amigo was dominant. The guy was everywhere. 5 goals in 3 games, got the 2nd goal in the 3rd game, got the 1st goal and the winner in both games 1 and 2. Did everything.

Kadri was great in game 3 but not really in the game until then. Scrivens was a beast all series with a .923 series. Gardiner and Frattin have made a big difference for that team, especially on the PP.

    Marlies are looking good.

Good to see the Marlies win. I'm surprised that no one is talking about them on here. I thought after their performance people would have D'Amigo playing on the top line after that series.

Saw the Marlies last 2 games of the season in Abbotsford. D'Amigo, Frattin, Ashton and Gardiner were all very impressive in those two games.

.... I posted about the Marlies in my last post lol.

I just spoke about how good they're doing.

Out of all the players who stuck with them all season long, D'amigo does have a very good shot to make the Leafs out of camp next season. Frattin, Carter Ashton, Jake Gardiner, and Kadri are all players who have a good shot.

But guys like D'amigo are good to see doing so well. Another guy who no one ever mentions is Nicolas Deschamps who was traded here a few months ago from Anaheim.

He's a second round pick and once he was traded here his game rose up drastically. He too has been dominant not only since he got here but in the playoffs as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing him play in the NHL.

Thats a no-brainer. No goalie with his credentials wants to be a back up when they still have good hockey left. I think he'd go to any team that needs a #1.

    Yeah Luongo said he'd waive.

That was sort of a given though. I think that if there's a deal he ends up in Tampa Bay. Maybe back in Florida.

Tampa will most likely make a run for Luongo, CLB might too. I have mixed feelings about Luongo coming to Toronto

    Pros an Cons of Luongo:

    Pros:
    He's an elite goaltender
He will most likely vault us into the playoffs(at least give us a real good chance)
    Good role model for Reimer
    He has experience

    Cons:
9 years left on his deal.(33 years old)
Has been known to choke in big situations
Lost his #1 job in the playoffs.(Not really his fault though)

I think people give him too much for trouble for last year's playoffs.. He wa solid for the most part. If they won, he would have won the Conn Smythe.

According to some on here, when luo wins its because of the great team infront of him. But when they lose it's all on luo, and he gets exposed as an average tender. Luos is prbably the most critisized tender in the league.

I never once said when he loses it's all on him.

When they do lose and he was in net, he is to blame every one is.

But like I said, when Vancouver loses, and Schneider gives them a chance to win that means he played better. Luongo played and although Vancouver did bad, so did he.

He isn't the most critisized tender. If he is feeling the heat in Vancouver you think him coming here will ease off? It'll be worst. Which is why I think if he's dealt it will be to Tampa or Florida.

And Dale Tallon won;t be the GM of the Canadiens that's tampering and he's gonna stay in Florida. Florida would be dumb to let him walk.
