Jamie Moyer Becomes the Oldest Player to Win a Game at 49 Years and 150 Days

Title says it all, pretty much. History nonetheless.

Congratulations, one of the classiest players in the game. Jamie's always been one of my favorite players, I got an autographed ball from him 11 years ago and thought he was at the end of the road then. It's unbelievable that he's still an effective pitcher all these years later.

So did Paige never get a win? I thought he had pitched at like 59?

EDIT: Nevermind, he did pitch but only a a few innings.

It's amazing that someone could find a job in baseball for that long without being a future member of the hall of fame. I mean, if someone like Mariano Rivera wanted to pitch to that age, I'm sure the Yankees would keep him around forever, but it's impressive that Moyer managed to keep finding jobs.
