    Which is easier to compare. Hitter to Hitter or Pitcher to Pitcher?

    I'd definitely go with hitter/hitter.

    If you are talking overall ability, I would say pitcher to pitcher. Comparing hitters gets complicated when you have to take into account different positions and defensive ability.
