Uh the point of my post was that they are never going to make that trade because it would cost too much - especially since we just traded for Francisco.

The Braves would never give up that much from Trumbo. That's why we don't have him. I doubt Flea was insinuating that FW would pay that much.
this thread is retarded.
i know, let's field a team of nothing but corner infielders. genius!

OKAY... I'm retarded. I would rather be a retarded Jazz fan
than an idiotic, equally as retarded, Whore-ior fan.
props to UJ47.
I never was really impressed by Trumbo that much. He has power and that is about it. His on base skills are terrible though.
Even if he played everyday that wouldn't be that impressive less than a month into the season. Considering he doesn't play everyday and has less than 50 PAs, that means basically nothing.
.423 BABIP, all I need to say.
Does anyone think the braves should trade for Jake Peavey to upgrade the starting rotation? If so, who should they give up?

if anything id rather try to work out a trade for carlos lee from the astros if the astros wouldnt want our top prospects and most importantly if they would eat alot of his salary...but back to the subject we dont neeed another injury prone pitcher...

Carlos Lee is garbage - he's probably not even better than Juan Francisco and he certainly isn't better than any one of our starters.
Does anyone think it would be a good idea for the Braves to trade for Jake Peavy so we could make our rotation stronger then ever. If so, who would we have to give up to get him?
this is already in the trade ideas thread. Moving
Is it just me or is this Bad Boys II song a rap version of our chop in the chorus? Granted I've always liked it, in fact I got the album a long time ago because of it, but they should at least give rights to the Braves.Maybe they should play this at the Ted instead of thank God I'm a country boy. After all, all Braves fans aren't just no-shoed, no-shirt'd no-teethed rednecks with Budweisers and Bug zappers as our evening entertainment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7NGbA9vZNY I'm just sayin.....
