    Arrow Rivals

Who, in your opinion, are the 5 most hated rivals of the Braves?

Mets, Yankees, or Phillies in any order 1-2-3 is fine.
    4. Giants (goes back to that brutal '93 NL West division race for me)
    5. Nationals or Cardinals.

Anyone NOT in a Braves uniform

Your list is pretty spot on, except I'd swap yanks down to 5

    1. Phillies
    2. Mets
    3. Nats
    4. Cards/Giants
    5. Yankees

Might I say I still hate the Twins for their cheating antics in the '91 World Series

I'm tempted to say I wouldn't have the Nats on my Top 5. I respect what they're doing up there and they are tough, but I don't HATE them yet. Those other teams? Plenty of reasons to dislike them over the years.

Five reasons why the Giants should be on everyone's list:

    - The '93 NL West race (http://summerofdreams.byjustinkarp.c...-1993-nl-west/ )
    - The 2002 NLDS (Bonds 3 HR, manhandled by RUSS ORTIZ ... eliminated at home)
    - The 2010 NLDS (Bobby's finale, Brooks Conrad... eliminated at home)
    - Posey steals Rookie of the Year from Heyward
    - Melky.

    1. Phillies (unlike the Mets, they had success at the Braves' expense)
    2. Mets (less successful version of Mets)
    3. Yankees (lost 8 straight World Series games to them. Played them in 4 WS)
    4. Giants (recent history and NL West days)
    5. Cardinals (recent history)

Really? No Nats? At this point I'd have the Nats at least at 3 and maybe even up to #2.

Even with the success of the Nats of late I couldn't put them on my top five either. I like the way they built their team. They didn't buy it like so many do these days. Sure they bought some of it but they developed a lot of it too. The Cards would be higher on my list right now because these last two seasons left a bitter taste in my mouth.

    1. Phillies
    2. Cardinals
    3. Mets (even though in the past they were big rivals, it's hard to keep them there because of how far they've fallen.)
    4. Yankees
    5. Giants (suspect they'll get replaced by the dodgers)

Why? 2012 was the first year they really compete in the NL east, we sucked against them in the pasts years but they were bad team so it wasn't really a rival to us.

Well for one they won the division. For 2 they are in the division, which should automatically put them ahead of the Cards and Yankees. Thirdly, their future is just as bright as ours, and they have an owner who is willing to spend. They are the closest team geographically as well. The Mets are obnoxious but they haven't won ***** in 5 years and they likely won't for 5-10 more.

Sure, probably in the next 2-3 years they will become our biggest rivals, but right now they aren't based on previous history.

    Oh ok.

Cards shouldn't be included based on one game. And Yankees shouldn't be unless your looking at Ancient History.

Ancient history? C'mon man, 1996, 1999? The last two years the cards have been the reason why we didn't went to the playoffs.
