    2010-2011 Packers of 2011-2012 Giants?

    Not a whole lot going on in the NFL thread so i wanted to post a poll.

    Out of the 2 most recent Super Bowl Champions who had the better team? Both of these teams had fairly similar type regular season scenarios by having above average records and getting hot right in time for the playoffs.

    As a Packers fan......I have no idea.

    Hard for me to put the bias away and really be objective.

    The Packers. Look at the defense. Clay Matthews and Charles Woodson are amongst the best defensive players in football and they have a quarterback who just dominates.

    I voted packers because of the 8-8 regular season where they were also outscored. Not a tough decision imo.

    I say the Giants because we were one Desean Jackson kick return for a TD away from knocking GB out.

    I always thought that we should have represented the NFC in the 2011 SB.

    Last year it was basically the same team but many of our starters got injured and rookies had to step up and do a lot of reshuffling positions......and we managed to win it all.

    Now going into this year we have a very dangerous and accomplished football team.

    Damn I'm excited.

    The Packers were really good defensively in 2010-2011. Probably better than the Giants by a good bit.

    The packers were never down by more than 7 points at ANY time in the season. Packers by far IMO. Plus they had lost countless amount of players due to injury. One of the most unlikely Super Bowl runs ever.
