ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss says Brandon Lloyd isn't a "lock" to return to the Patriots in 2013.
Lloyd's base salary is just $1.9 million, but New England holds a $3 million option bonus. If the Pats cut Lloyd after June 1, they would endure a $1 million cap hit in 2013 and 2014. New England may not view the soon-to-be 32-year-old worth that much money with other needs to address. Lloyd had an underwhelming first season with the team, catching 74 passes for 911 yards and four touchdowns. The Patriots are expected to overhaul an aging receiver group this offseason.

    Roto

Boom! I'd take him back for a year or 2 until our guys develop!

ESPN's Adam Schefter stated on NFL Live Thursday that the Ravens may "very well" end up releasing Anquan Boldin after the Super Bowl.
Per Schefter, the Ravens are $5 million over the projected 2013 salary cap, "and that's before they get a deal done with Joe Flacco." Franchise tagging Flacco would put them roughly $20 million over the cap. Cutting Boldin would save Baltimore about $5.5 million. Although it's not a move the Ravens would like to make, "financial pressures" may force them to. Schefter added that releasing Jacoby Jones could free up another $3.5 million.

God I wish that could be considered "underwhelming" for us...

I would totally take Lloyd on the cheap. He and Sam seemed to click when he was here. Plus it would give us $$ to spend elsewhere, like o-line, TE, olb, safety.

i would take lloyd over bolden due to he would be cheaper and also the connection that he had with same for half a year. but bolden i would not complain the guy is super clutch he seems to always catch it when its needed in my opinion

I think Lloyd would be my top option for the reasons I gave earlier. He would be a fairly cheap rental. It would give our younger guys time to develop without breaking the bank. Sure there are better wr's but they are gonna cost big $$.

I might actually prefer Boldin, if Bowe isnt an option. Lloyd and Givens seem to be similiar, and Boldin is that 10-20 yrd route runner, with great hands. Smith was the deep guy for Baltimore, and I see Givins as that guy for us. Boldin might compliment he and Danny well. He's also a winner. May be good for locker room.

Nope, don't want Boldin. Bowe, Jennings, Lloyd, in that order.
